Trimble and Keypro announce partnership

Trimble strengthens its telecommunications product portfolio in Sweden and Norway with Keypro partnership.

Trimble Utilities, a global technology leader in digital asset lifecycle management for electric, district heating, gas, telecommunications and water utilities, enhances its product portfolio in telecommunications. Trimble aims to strengthen customers’ operations at Swedish and Norwegian telecommunications companies by providing high-quality, detailed and up-to-date network information management to address their current and future needs. To enhance our commitment to providing innovative solutions to our customers, Trimble has entered into a strategic partnership in fiber software with Keypro, a Finnish software provider.

As a result of the collaboration, Trimble introduces a new telecommunications software solution to the Swedish and Norwegian markets. Network Information System KeyCom is an advanced cloud and browser-based system for planning, deploying, operating and managing telecommunications networks. The software allows authorized personnel and contractors to work together to plan networks, understand how existing networks are connected, locate and deal with network faults as well as manage tasks and work related to the network. These capabilities will enable Trimble's telecommunications customers in Sweden and Norway to optimize their operations, reduce costs, and make informed decisions with advanced technology.

"We are excited to expand our product offering in Sweden and Norway and bring Keypro's cutting-edge telecommunications solution to our customers," says Tomas Ray, Country Director at Trimble. "We believe that the KeyCom solution aligns perfectly with our mission to empower industries with advanced technology, and we are confident that it will drive significant value for our Swedish and Norwegian customers while catering to their ever-evolving needs."

Keypro is equally enthusiastic about the collaboration. "We are delighted to partner with Trimble, a global technology leader," said Sami Relander, CEO at Keypro. "This collaboration will allow us to implement our telecom solution KeyCom’s advanced features and telco-specific functionality to Trimble’s customers throughout Sweden and Norway. We believe that this will provide a great competitive advantage for Trimble’s customers."
