First look at Keypro’s new UI
Our upcoming user interface (UI) is soon here, and we’re thrilled to give you a sneak peek of what’s coming. The new UI is a leap forward, designed to make managing networks easier, faster and more enjoyable than before.
The primary goal of our new UI is straightforward: to simultaneously be the most expressive and user-friendly network management tool on the market. While we already lead with deep modeling features, the new interface will bring ease of use and automation to the forefront. By redesigning the interface, we aim to lower the learning curve, making network management accessible to all. At its core, the system will be intuitive, helping beginners navigate tasks while allowing seasoned professionals to streamline their workflows.
But usability isn’t our only focus. Underneath the interface lies a completely renewed robust technological foundation featuring React, GraphQL and PostgreSQL. These widely trusted technologies enable the system to handle more workloads and scale as user needs to grow. You’ll notice the difference from day one, whether it’s in reduced loading times, smoother navigation, or the overall fluidity of the system.
Features to look forward to
The new UI introduces features that will change the way you work:
1. Search functionality
Searching for information will no longer feel like a chore. We will offer a new search experience inspired by popular web services, allowing you to begin with broad queries and refine your results as needed.
2. Table views
We’re introducing a table view feature to complement our map-based visualizations. This gives you a new way to analyze your data, offering flexibility to work in the style that suits you best.
3. Integration of KeyApps
KeyApps, previously external tools, will now be fully integrated into the UI. This eliminates the need to switch platforms, allowing users to access tailored tools within the same environment.
What will change?
We’ve designed the new UI to be intuitive and visually appealing, making it a tool you’ll enjoy using every day. The clutter of multiple pop-ups on the map is gone, replaced by a modern layout where information is logically organized in context aware side panels. Though the changes will be significant, they’re also familiar. By borrowing attributes from other well-known systems, we’re making it easy for users to adapt.
When can you expect the new UI?
We’re rolling out the new UI in phases, starting with KeyAqua in early Q2 2025. By Q3 2025, core functionalities for KeyAqua will be available, followed by the viewer version of KeyCom in Q4 2025. By Q1 2026, all key features of KeyCom will be live. This gradual rollout allows us to fine-tune the system based on your feedback while ensuring the current version remains fully operational.
The transition to using the new UI has been planned with care. We’re keeping the current “classic UI” available alongside the new one, so you can explore the updated tools at your own pace. There’s no rush, you take the leap whenever you’re ready.

Developing a UI isn’t a one-time project—it’s an ongoing process. As the new interface becomes available, we’ll actively seek feedback from users to identify areas for improvement. After all, the true test of the UI lies in how it’s used in real-life scenarios.
